Guinea pigs live around 6-8 years. They do not need vaccinations but it is very important to monitor them for health problems regularly. We recommend all guinea pigs should be checked every 6 months. Guinea pigs do not need regular worm or flea treatments. When they do need treatment for parasites, it should be as directed by a piggie-savvy veterinarian.
